Euell Wren Stutts was born on November 27, 1925 in Florence Alabama to Charlie (1889-1950) and Vernon M. (Massey) (1885-1974) Stutts. He resided in the Greenhill community until he was called to serve (#44031029) on August 24, 1944 in Fort McClellan, Alabama. He was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic and meritorious achievement.

After his service, he worked as an electrical engineer for TVA. Upon retirement, he pursued his hobby opening Stutts Iron Shop where he became known for his decorative wrought ironwork. Most days he could be found at his shop overseeing operations. He married Gracie Bell Boshers on July 1, 1950 in Maury, Tennessee. He took great pride in his World War II service with the 83rd and was selected to go on the Honor Flight to visit the World War II memorial in Washington, D.C.

Euell Wren Stutts, 91, passed away on April 5, 2017, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Euell Stutts is burried at the Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Mr. Stutts is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Gracie Stutts.
